PPS Injection Molding Processing Methods

Pre-drying. This is the first step it helps to enhance the molding appearance of a PPS product. It will happen at a temperature of 150 to 160 degree Celsius in 2 to 3 hours. Pre-drying is highly important to give quality products.

Injection Molding. It is the process where perfect for high productivity. It works by molding a PPS material at a mold temperature of 50 degrees Celsius and the next step is pos-crystallizations at 200 degree Celsius. Below are some specifications on how injection molding works.

  • Injection pressure: 40 to 70MPa
  • Mold Temperature: 120 to 160 degrees Celsius
  • Screw speed 40 – 100 rpm

  • Mold temperature: 300 to 310 degrees Celsius
